2023: Party Offers Free Forms To Youths Vying For House Of Assembly, Reps, Senate Seats

 

The Action People’s Party in Abia State has offered to give out free Nomination/ Expression of interest forms to youths who are vying for State House of Assembly,House of Representatives and Senate seats respectively,as a way of encouragement.

In an interview with newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia State chairman of APP, Chief Sylvanus Nwaji, said the party decided to encourage the youths to run for elective positions by giving out forms freely to youths that have competency, integrity and character and are also between the ages of 25-28 years.

According to him, the party as a youth friendly party is fielding young aspirants for the governorship, House of Assembly, Representative and Senate seats.

He said the party is also giving out forms at subsidized rates to female aspirants.

Intimating how the party was formed, he said the party is the coming together of progressive minds that are bent on bringing a change to Abia,as well as repositioning it,to be among the comity of states in Nigeria.

He said come 2023, the emphasis will nolonger be on the party, but the quality of candidates field in by various parties.

The APP chairman further added that they would be having a consensus governorship candidate in the person of Mascot Orji, because of his track record,adding that he would help to reposition the state.

Chief Nwaji, however, encouraged Abians to go for their Permanent Voters Card,so as to enthrone young aspirants, urging them to give their massive support.
