2023: Group Endorses Sen Orji Kalu For President, Says He Is A Detribalized Nigerian

 

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, group under the umbrella of OUK Speaks Fans International, Abia State, has endorsed the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial Zone, Orji Uzor Kalu for president come 2023, describing him as a detribalized Nigerian.

The group who made this known during a ‘One Million Man March’ organized in Umuahia, the Abia State Capital, with the theme: ‘OUK For President Come 2023’, said Sen Orji Kalu is the best candidate for President, looking at his antecedents as a former Governor of Abia State and also as a serving Senator.

Speaking with the Press, the Abia State Coordinator, OUK Speaks Fans International, Mr Josiah Kalu, said the essence of the One Million Man March organized by his group,was to join voice with some Northern groups who have been endorsed the Senator for President.

According to him, no group in the South East,has endorsed or encouraged Sen Orji Kalu to come out for President, “That is why the OUK Speaks Fans International, decided to take the bull by the horn,as the foot soldiers of OUK to endorse and encourage him to run for Presidency come 2023”.

Mr Josiah Kalu noted that the achievements of Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, both as a former Governor and also as a serving senator are quite enormous, expressing optimism that when he is elected as the president,he would do much more for the country, adding that the senator is the best candidate APC can give their presidential ticket.

Also, the Spokesperson of the group, Chief Ajaero Ikwuagwu, described Sen Orji Kalu as a Golden fish that has no place to hide, without being noticed.According to him, the senator has distinguished himself in politics and in business with numerous successes attached to him, adding that when he is given the opportunity to lead Nigerian he would do well.

Chief Ikwuagwu stated that the group has carefully examined the senator and has concluded that he is the best person that can lead Nigeria well.

He disclosed that the OUK Speaks Fans International decided to organize the One Million Man March to align with groups, individuals and eminent Nigerians concerned to prompt, energize and mandate the senator to join the presidential race come 2023.

“We have seen the potentials in him,that is why we are encouraging him to join the race”.

He added that the group has been reaching out to communities, moving from ward to ward, preaching the gospel of OUK.

Another member of the group, Chief Emeka Okezie, said Sen Orji Kalu would do well as a president because as an ex Governor of Abia State, he was up to date with salary payment,as well as gratuity and also carried out numerous people’s oriented projects.

He described the senator as detribalized and one who welcomes all sections and tribes of the country, adding that he is known all over the nation.

The Woman Leader of the group, Mrs Ibezim Regina Uzoma, called on women to go and register for their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC),so that they can use it to vote for Sen Orji Kalu come 2023,stating that the Senator has done alot for them, believing that when he becomes the President, he would do much more.

The Youth Leader, Mr Madubuike Chimechefulam, called on the All Progressive Congress (APC), to zone their Presidential seat to South East and also give their ticket to Sen Orji Kalu, maintaining that he is the only one that can help restructure Nigeria.

The One Million Man March, had group marching round the streets of Umuahia Metropolis in their large numbers, dancing and chanting solidarity songs to further show support for the Senator.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of a letter to the Abia State Admin Secretary of the APC, Col Emeka Chilaka Rtd, who received the document on behalf of the Chairman,Hon Acho Obioma.
