2023: Erondu Assures PDP Of 120,000 Votes Cast From Obingwa

 

The Special Adviser to the Abia State Governor on General Duties, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has disclosed that come 2023, the Obingwa Local Government Area will vote massively for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), assuring the party of 120,000 votes cast.

Elder Erondu who stated this in an interview during the Grand finale of the PDP Sensitization/Familiarization tour across the 17 LGAs of the state, said Obingwa is known for delivering massive votes to the PDP and assured that come 2023, the Local Government would surpass previous records.

According to him, the least vote Obingwa had given to the party was 78,000 votes in the 2019 elections, promising that in the forth coming elections, the area would beat the record.

Erondu noted that Obingwa Local Government Area has been a PDP area, stating that it would continue in that feat, firstly, as the seat of power and secondly  as one of the areas that has benefited from the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration.He added that stakeholders in the area are ready to give their best to ensure the area produces nothing less than 120,000 votes for the party in the 2023 polls.

The Special Adviser to the Governor, while pledging 100% support to the PDP,  commended the leadership of the party in Abia, for initiating the familiarization tour across the 17 local government areas of the state, which he said was capable of bringing the party closer to the people.

He, however, thanked God for a successful tour and for granting journey mercies to the team all through the tour, as no accident was recorded.
