In continuation of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) Ward meetings holding across the wards in the various Local Government Areas of Abia State, the representatives of the Party leadership in the State, led by the State Assistant Secretary of the Party, Chief Richard Nwagbara has visited Ikwueke-East Ward for the scheduled meeting.
The meeting was attended by the former Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the BOT Chairman of PDP in Nigeria, Senator Adolphus Wabara,the Executive Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon Chuks Wabara and his Deputy, Chief Eric Ugbor, the Member representing Ukwa East State Constituency and the PDP Campaign Coordinator for Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Paul Taribo, the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon Barr.Tony Nwamuo, the Local Government Party Chairman of PDP in Ukwa East, Chief Okechi Nwohu, the Candidate of the PDP for Ukwa Federal Constituency, Chief Sir Chris Nkwonta and the House of Assembly Candidate for Ukwa East State Constituency, Hon Lewis Obianyi among other notable stakeholders from the area.
In their separate remarks, the stakeholders urged party faithfuls to deploy everything in their arsenal to ensure 100 per cent victory for their party, adding PDP is the only party with notable impact on the grassroot for over two decades.
In a related development, the members of PDP in Obohia political ward received the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party led by the State Assistant Secretary of the Party in the State, Chief Richard Nwagbara in the ongoing PDP Ward meetings holding across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State..
Also, stakeholders of PDP in the Ward led by the Leader of the Ward and a former Chairman of the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (ASOPADEC), Rt.Hon Chief Emeka Stanley, the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon Barr.Tony Nwamuo, a former Transition Committee Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area and the Coordinator,OVI For Senate 2023, Hon Ossy Nwamuo, the Candidates of the Party in the area for Federal and State Constituencies:Chief Sir Chris Nkwonta and Hon Lewis Obianyi respectively, the Executive Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon Chuks Wabara among other political leaders are present in the meeting.
