As part of the activities marking the year 2022 World Music Day, the Abia State chapter of Legend Musicians have concluded plans to perform live concert in Umuahia.
Speaking shortly after the body led by Mazi Okey Okoro briefed her on the level of preparation towards the event in her office, the General Manager, Abia State Tourism Board, Hon. Atuloma Onyekachi Jackie assured that the Board will put in efforts to ensure that the event record maximum success.
She maintained that music which is embedded in Tourism and Hospitality rules the world and her office is striving to discover and showcase hidden talents in that sector.
Atuloma disclosed that the youth and education friendly disposition of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu coupled with the friendly nature of Abia State realized by the governor, puts Abia ahead of others in terms of SMEs development, youth enablement and empowerment among others.
Earlier, the Chairman of Legend Musicians, Abia State chapter, Mazi Okey Okoro said the body came to interface with the Tourism Board on their planned Live concert and appealed that the Board carry them along to ensure the smooth success of the event slated to hold at the middle of the year.
