2021 New Yam Festival: Abia Lawmaker Lauds Ihechiowa People

The people of Ihechiowa Community in Arochukwu LGA, have been lauded for upholding their rich cultural heritage and for making this year’s New Yam Festival a worthwhile.

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, who expressed this during this year’s New Yam Festival of Ihechiowa People, described the people of Ihechiowa as great.

The Lawmaker during the occasion, highlighted some his numerous achievements within the space of time in office.

Abia State minority Whip Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Dr Mike Onyekwere Ukoha, making his remarks during the 2021 Ihechiowa New Yam festival recently, in Abia State.

He also told the people that he has embarked upon the sinking of a water borehole project at Atan Ihechiowa, for the entire Community, adding that the project will be ready on schedule.

During the occasion, prominent sons and daughters of the community, including the Leader Arochukwu LGA Legislative Council, Hon. Emeka Bonny (Delazz), thanked Hon. Ukoha, for his giant strides in office and urged him to keep it up.
