2021 AFCON QUALIFIERS: Nigeria Get Opponents

Just as the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations comes to an end today, the Confederation of African Football CAF has released the fixtures for the qualifiers of the next edition slated for Cameroon in 2021.

The Super Eagles, who won Bronze on Wednesday after defeating Tunisia by a lone goal, are placed in group L, where they will play against fellow two West African teams, Benin Republic and Sierra Leone, and Lesotho.

Tunisia, who came fourth in this edition of the AFCON are placed in group J, where they will battle Libya Tanzania and Equatorial Guinea.

Tonight finalists, Senegal and Algeria are placed in groups I and H respectively. In group I, Senegal will lurk horns with Guinea Bissau, Congo and Eswatini while Algeria will face Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana in group H.
