Outspoken Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to appease Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he prepares for 2019.
According to Sani, Tinubu, who is the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is aggrieved and possesses a damaging political capacity.
The Senator, known for his frank and sometimes controversial outbursts, made the call in a Facebook post on Saturday, made a veiled reference to Buhari and Tinubu, warning that the latter had a damaging political capacity.
The post read, “The Lion Monarch should reach out to the aggrieved but silent Lagoon Lion so that he doesn’t explode like the hippo. The Lagoon Lion controls waters that can drown.”
Speaking with The Punch on phone, Sani confirmed that “The Lagoon” represented Lagos, while “The Lagoon King” was in reference to Tinubu, who is a former governor of the state.
