200 members of Abia Rejoice joins APGA Thursday, as party opens new secretariat

About 200 members of Abia Rejoice, the political structure of Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah,  will on Thursday announce their defection to All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA) in Abia state, in a ceremony that will be attended by the National chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Ike Oye and other national officers of the party.

Confirming their defection to APGA on Monday, the secretary of the party in the state, Elder Sunday Onukwubiri said the event which will hold on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the APGA secretariats, Warri street, Umuahia would also feature the commissioning of the new party office by the National chairman, Chief Oye.

He said,”You know APGA is a massive movement. A party that believe in development and good governance. As am talking to you now on Thursday February 1, we are holding a programme where about hundreds of supporters and members of Abia Rejoice,(Uche ogah structure) will formally declared their defection to our great party, APGA”.

“We are excepting the National chairman, Chief Victor Oye and other national officers during the event. They all will attend the opening of new secretariats in Umuahia”.

Those excepted to grace the occasion includes, Dr. Alex otti, Sir chikwe udensi, Chief Uchenna Okogbuo, the deputy National chairman of the party, Chief Ahamdi Nweke, APGA members in Abia House of Assembly and other notable APGA chieftains.
