Hon. Prince Ikedi Ezekwesiri, a two time house of Assembly member for Umunneochi State Constituency and son of the paramount ruler of Isuochi ancient kingdom HRM Eze G.I Ezekwesiri (Ochi 1 of Isuochi) has declared his total and unreserved solidarity to the candidature of Professor Uche Ikonne and Honourable Okey Igwe.
He promised to use his structure to mobilise massively for the party and announced donation of a branded Bus for Uche Ikonne/Okey Igwe campaign.
Ezekwesiri stated this while receiving the incumbent house of Assembly member for Umunneochi State Constituency and the Deputy Governorship candidate of PDP Abia State Hon. Okey Igwe Esq who called on him at his Isuochi Royal Palace today.
Honourable Okey Igwe appreciated him for coming back to his former party and family PDP and urged him to remain in the party and apply his sagacity and experience to work for the victory of the party come 2023 elections.
Igwe equally used the opportunity to call on all citizens of Umunneochi who are yet to register in the ongoing voter’s registration exercise to take advantage of the extension window and get registered,stating that he has put in place logistics to make it easier for the constituents.
He further stated that the issue of insecurity in the area will be a thing of the past in a short while thanking the Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for his concern and strategic efforts so far.
Some of the people that were present during the visit are Comr. V. C Ngwu, former Chief of Staff to to Umunneochi LGA and Prince Ugochukwu Ezekwesiri (Duke).
