Abia State Government has called Nigerians in the country and Diaspora to take advantage of the peaceful environment and critical infrastructural development in Abia, under Gov. Ikpeazu’s-led administration, emulate Enyimba Mall Developer and invest in the state.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Abia State Governor, on Strategic Development Communications, Elder Kennedy Okechukwu Onyenma who disclosed this during the unveiling of Mega Products and Fashion Expo at Enyimba Mall in Aba recently, described Abia as an Investors haven.

Fielding questions from newsmen, Elder Onyenma revealed that the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu’s infrastructural strides have enhanced business fortunes in the state, thus; placing Abia Third in the country in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

In his opening remarks, the President, Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industries Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), Sir Lawrence Nnaemeka Obetta, has lauded the MD/CEO of CheckBest Int’l Ltd and the Developer, Enyimba Mall, Etche Road Aba, for putting Abia in the World Mall Map, maintain that the Mall is the pride of Aba – Enyimba city.

In his words: “CheckBest Int’l Ltd has brought something different in Abia. Enyimba Mall is a new normal as seen in Dubai, China, Malaysia among others, designed to meet the needs of all categories of business men/women in Aba, with lots of jobs to be created for the teeming unemployed.

Sir Obetta who further disclosed that ACCIMA in conjunction with CheckBest Int’l Ltd and Abia State Marketing and Quality Management Agency would be organizing Mega Products and Fashion Expo at Enyimba Mall Outlet Shop on December 8 – 18, 2021, called on business owners/entrepreneurs to seize this platform to showcase their products and services to the international business community.

The ACCIMA president commended Gov. Ikpeazu for creating/sustaining an enabling environment, void of security challenges in Aba, and the entire Abia, where people can come in, relax and do their legitimate businesses without any hitch.

He further applauded journalists for illuminating the business community on the happenings in Aba while advising them to always shun destructive journalism.

Meanwhile, the MD/CEO CheckBest Int’l Ltd and the Developer of Enyimba Mall, Mr. Chiedozie Njoku, revealed that the facility was designed to serve the benefits of every sector of the economy with 24 hours power supply and water-tight security to match.

Njoku who thanked Gov. Ikpeazu for providing an atmosphere for business to thrive, highlighted that the Mega Products and Fashion Expo will offer Abians, South-East Geo-political zone and Nigerians at large, the opportunity to sell/buy wares at a very affordable rate.

He hailed Obetta-led ACCIMA for playing positive role in the development of business in Abia while calling on media practitioner to project all the good things done by the Abia state government and ACCIMA instead of de-marketing the state.

In their separate remarks, the Vice President, ACCIMA, Chief Jerry O. Kalu and the Vice President, Trade and Investment, Chief Mrs. Ann Osakwe, wooed investors to Aba, insisting that Enyimba Mall would also serve the economic interest of all Nigerians within the country and in diaspora.

Located at Etche road, Aba, Abia State, Enyimba Mall, which has a total area of 32, 700 square metres, with 12,000 square metres shopping spaces was executed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement, between Checkbest International Limited and Abia State Government.

The One-Stop shopping mall will change ‘the unorganized shopping pattern’ practice in open markets in Aba and usher in a new era of shopping experience that is of global standard.
